Project Selection -Film

In watching the Newsroom and other films, I have come to think that I can create a film for my final project. From watching the angle cuts, to the sounds edits and the transitions between scenes the Newsroom has opened up my eyes to the film world. If I were to do the Film I would have to be in the creative process rather than the final process. I am very creative and would enjoy creating the lay out and shots to use for filming, however with my OCD I would not like to be part of the filming or editing process. It would take me too long to get it how I like and to not see the vision that was already in my head... it is hard to changed an already persuaded mind. If I were to do this project I would like to do a flash back movie of sorts where there is a cliff hanger in the front of the film and then the film will explain how the character got to that. Ultimately, while this would be fun, I do not think that this project would be a good fit for my personality and work ethic.

My magazine would engage with readers anywhere from 16 years old to 80 years old. Because my magazine is an academic journal it will most likely appeal to those who are interested in the academic field and its new achievements. Younger classrooms would use my magazine in class to work research the newest innovations of the scientific field.  While on a break between classes college students will be reading my magazine to bring new insight to the research they are conducting. Professors who run their own lab will be reading Future Scientist to help recruit students to continue their research in their lab. However, while it is targeted more towards science professionals or students pursuing the medical field, all ages can enjoy seeing the advancements of the rising generation. Table of Contents Template

I kept the same color scheme and created a template of the design I see would best fit the amount of articles I would like while still allowing me to have a matching picture to each article. The page numbers will be in a different more abstract font in the center of the article titles and pictures.
